The VIA AI Transforma has a fanless, low-power design measuring 146mm x 102mm (5.75″ x 4.02″), powered by a MediaTek Genio 700 Octa-Core processor. This combines two Cortex-A78 cores for performance and six Cortex-A55 cores for energy efficiency, making it an ideal choice for AI-powered edge applications. With up to 4 TOPS of AI performance provided by the MediaTek Deep Learning Accelerator (MDLA) 3.0 and Cadence® Tensilica® Vision P6 NPU, this platform is well-suited for tasks such as image recognition, machine learning, and predictive maintenance. 8GB of LPDDR4X SDRAM and 16GB of eMMC flash storage provides efficient handling of data-intensive workloads.

Designed with flexibility and innovation in mind, the VIA AI Transforma offers extensive connectivity options, including HDMI, USB 3.1, USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 40-pin GPIO header for easy integration with a wide array of Raspberry Pi supported HATs, cameras and displays, as well as expansion for custom hardware. Two onboard M.2 slots provide additional expansion opportunities for integrating Wi-Fi and 4G/5G connectivity, increased storage, NPU Accelerators and other PCIe devices.
