With the VIA Mobile360 family of intelligent in-vehicle safety systems our goal is to provide a scalable platform that can be optimized for myriad commercial vehicle types and use cases.
System hardware innovation is one of three pillars of our design approach. The other two comprise the development and optimization of our own camera AI perception algorithms for accident prevention and driver monitoring and enabling high-speed connectivity and convenient cloud integration.
As the need for fleet managers to maintain close contact with drivers, track the progress of vehicles, and respond immediately to unforeseen events continues to accelerate, reliable 4G wireless connectivity is fast becoming an essential tool for enabling real-time video telematics applications and services.
To meet this growing demand, we include support for 4G connectivity in all our VIA Mobile360 systems. In 2021, we went a step further with the VIA Mobile360 D700 AI Dash Cam, by having the device certified for commercial integration by the top four US carrier networks. As far as we are aware, the VIA Mobile360 D700 is the only dash cam to receive such approvals from AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and USCellular.
With more and more fleet operators planning to adopt cloud-based video telematics applications and services that require the real-time capture and analysis of rich driver behavior and vehicle utilization data, the importance of dependable wireless connectivity is set to become even greater in the future. To meet this growing requirement, we will continue to optimize our VIA Mobile360 systems for carrier networks around the world.
In preparation for the proliferation of 5G networks, we are also working to enable support for this new technology in our VIA Mobile360 family so that customers can take full advantage of its higher speeds and lower latency for their video telematics applications and services.
